Independent accounts, cloud saves and privacy

This is an independent account edition based on Charcher’s PokeBonk 0.6.3 / mvdmwnj4. Cloudflare Pages serves the game, assets and save API; identity and the database use the Firebase Spark free plan. Accounts, rankings and social services are separate from the original service.

Getting started and saving across devices

Choose guest play and a starter partner. Guests should link an email before clearing browser data; linking keeps the current identity and progress. Sign in with the same email on another device to read completed progress, characters, settings and history. Signing out does not delete the save. If you forget your password, request a reset email on the account screen; check your inbox to confirm delivery.

Sync, interruptions and old-save migration

Finish syncing before signing out or switching accounts. If sync fails, use “Retry sync” in the cloud-save tools at the bottom right. For a version conflict, review the rejected operation, then explicitly choose to discard it and load the cloud save; balances are not merged automatically. Refreshing does not rebuild an active 3D battlefield. Check interrupted-run progress in the tools and follow the instructions. An old local research save that you exported can be migrated once into an empty cloud save, only after file preview and confirmation; the original file is kept. A cloud-save export is a read-only copy, not a backup that can be reimported.

Data and storage

Firebase Authentication handles email and passwords; the game service does not store plaintext passwords. Firestore stores the UID, nickname, settings, character progress, run reports, operation deduplication records and revision number. The browser stores the login session and that account’s pending operations. Clients cannot read or write the database directly; authenticated server APIs provide access to profiles. The server keeps save backups from the two previous writes. Operation and run receipts prevent duplicate settlement and currently have no automatic deletion deadline. Battle results originate in the browser; this service offers neither official rankings nor a promise of strong anti-cheat protection.

Contact and deletion requests

Public contact address: hello@pokebonk-online.pages.dev. This address is displayed using the site’s domain; mail reception has not been configured or verified. There is currently no self-service account deletion. An operator must handle deletion requests manually; displaying this address does not mean that requests can already be received or accepted there.
